Media Advisory - Toronto Hydro Breaks Ground at the New Downtown Transformer Station

TORONTO, May 22, 2013 /CNW/ - Today, Toronto Hydro-Electric System Limited (Toronto Hydro) will celebrate the start of construction on its new downtown transformer station. This is the first station built in the downtown core by Toronto Hydro since 1955 and will provide electrical service to buildings and neighbourhoods in the central-southwest region of Toronto.

This new station, when complete, will provide this capacity, as well as additional capacity to serve new load in this high-density, high-growth area of Toronto. |
