Media Advisory - Toronto Hydro Public Safety Demonstration at St. Pius X Catholic School
TORONTO, June 19, 2014 /CNW/ - With summer around the corner, children will soon have more free time to explore, touch, and taste everything and anything. However, these curious hands can lead to dangerous situations. To keep safety top priority this summer, Toronto Hydro-Electric System ("Toronto Hydro") wants everyone to stay safe and avoid potential hazards when playing.
WHO: | Three grade one classes at St. Pius X Catholic School will learn about electrical safety from Toronto Hydro. |
WHAT: | Students will rotate around four safety stations that include: a Toronto Hydro bucket truck, indoor and outdoor safety demonstrations, and an interactive hazard display. |

WHEN: | Friday, June 20, 2014 9:30 a.m. –10:45 a.m. |
WHY: | It's important our children are aware of the dangers of electricity and learn to spot potential electrical hazards. In a fun and engaging way, this event will help educate kids about electrical safety so they can play safe all summer. |
