Grade nine students will learn the 'ins and outs' of the business by participating in sessions including fleet operations, electrical awareness, emergency preparedness and engineering. | |

WHY: | In 2011, Toronto Hydro was one of just 10 organizations in Canada to win Canada's Outstanding Employer Award from the Learning Partnership, which champions Take Our Kids to Work. Through programs such as Take Our Kids to Work day, Toronto Hydro stresses the importance of education in its community involvement programs. Collaboration with the educational system has helped to build awareness of apprenticeships and technical job opportunities. |
