Media advisory - Toronto Hydro sponsoring R.I.D.E. check

TORONTO, Dec. 9, 2016 /CNW/ - Media are invited to join Toronto Hydro crew members at an impaired driving R.I.D.E. check Monday evening.

Toronto Hydro is sponsoring the R.I.D.E. check to support the Toronto Police Service's efforts to combat impaired driving as, each year, Toronto Hydro responds to a significant number of collision scenes involving drunk drivers hitting hydro poles and streetlights. Crews see the impact it has on people's lives firsthand.

WHAT:	Toronto Hydro crews will be handing out flashlights during a holiday R.I.D.E. check
