Media Advisory - Town Hall: A National Strategy for Seniors Care
ST. JOHN'S, July 15, 2015 /CNW/ - As Canada's Premiers are in St. John's for their annual summer meeting, health care advocates from across the country are gathering to send a clear message to Premiers and to the Prime Minister - our public health care requires leadership!
WHAT: At a public town hall organized by the Canadian Health Coalition and the Health Coalition of Newfoundland and Labrador, citizens will be invited to discuss the risks of privatized health care and why we must take a stand for all seniors.
The panelists include:
- Hassan Youssuff, President of the Canadian Labour Congress
- Linda Silas, President of the Canadian Federation of Nurses Unions
- Mary Clark, Chair of the Health Coalition of Newfoundland and Labrador
