OTTAWA, April 1 /CNW Telbec/ - The President of the Treasury Board and Minister for the Asia-Pacific Gateway, the Honourable Stockwell Day, will hold a conference call with BC media to discuss the introduction of a new federal legislation aimed at restoring the principle of representation by population in the House of Commons. This legislation was introduced today in the House of Commons by the Minister of State for Democratic Reform, the Honourable Steven Fletcher. If passed, this legislation will give fair representation to the province of British Columbia.
