Housing Forum

EDMONTON , Nov. 2 /CNW/ - Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) will host "True Stories: Sustainability in Action" 2009 EQuilibrium(TM) Housing Forum and 3rd Annual Research Conference. This event will take place from November 2 to November 4, 2009 at the Coast Edmonton Plaza Hotel.

EQuilibrium(TM) is a national sustainable housing initiative, led by CMHC, that brings together the private and public sectors to develop homes that are healthy to live in, reduce environmental impact and save energy.

The forum will feature presentations from the builders of Riverdale and Mill Creek NetZero Homes in Edmonton , and the Avalon Discovery 3 Home and the Laebon CHESS Project, both in Red Deer. The third day of the conference consists of a bus tour of the homes.
