MEDIA ADVISORY - TSB Releases Final Investigation Report on Derailment of
Dangerous Goods Cars near Brighton, Ontario
GATINEAU, QC, Oct. 25 /CNW/ - The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) will hold a media availability on October 27, 2010, to make public the TSB investigation report (R09T0092) on the derailment of six cars (three of which contained dangerous goods) near Brighton, Ontario, on March 21, 2009. Safety concerns were raised as a result of the investigation.
The Investigator-in-Charge, Mr. Rob Johnston, will answer questions in English. Mr. Glen Pilon, Investigator/Technical Coordinator, will address questions in French. The experts will be available for questions and interviews on site.
