Media Advisory - Turn to Busan ceremony to honour Canadians' service and sacrifices in the Korean War Français
OTTAWA, Nov. 9, 2018 /CNW/ - Stéphane Lauzon, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence will participate in the annual Turn to Busan commemorative ceremony to pay tribute to Canadians who served and died in the Korean War. The Korea Veterans Association of Canada and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to Canada are co-hosting the ceremony, with support from Veterans Affairs Canada. This ceremony mirrors the annual Remembrance Day ceremony held at the United Nations Memorial Cemetery in Busan, Republic of Korea.
