Canada gathering global leaders in Toronto for Saving Every Woman, Every Child Summit
TORONTO, May 26, 2014 /CNW/ - Leading child health, nutrition and civil registration and statistics experts are available for interviews and commentary during the upcoming high level summit on maternal, newborn and child health in Toronto.
UNICEF has been a key partner in implementing the Canadian led Muskoka Initiative through life saving health and nutrition programs reaching the world's most vulnerable children. A global leader in improving child survival, UNICEF also plays a key role in generating statistics on the health and wellbeing of children which are critical to the global efforts to reduce child and maternal mortality.
