TORONTO, April 26, 2017 /CNW/ - Unifor is Canada's largest union in the private sector representing approximately 160,000 workers in Ontario that are employed in a variety of sectors including auto, healthcare, manufacturing, transportation and natural resources among others.
Naureen Rizvi, Unifor Ontario Regional Director, will be available for comment following the tabling of the provincial budget.
"This budget will directly impact the standard of living for hard working Ontario families," said Rizvi. "We call on the Wynne government to protect good jobs, implement a fair minimum wage of $15 an hour, and improve the social services that the people of Ontario all rely on."
