Media advisory - Valcartier troops back from Haiti

VALCARTIER GARRISON, QC, March 5 /CNW Telbec/ - Media representatives are invited to attend a return flight of approximately one hundred Valcartier soldiers arriving from Haiti this Sunday:

    
    When: Sunday, March 7, 2010, 7:15 p.m. (plane set to arrive at 7:45 p.m.)
    Where: Quebec City Jean Lesage International Airport, International Zone
    

The 850 or so soldiers from Valcartier, comprising the Land Force element of Joint Task Force Haiti, will gradually come home. Since Mid-January 2010, this contingent offers the Haitian population emergency medical services, engineering expertise, land mobility, as well as security support.
