Media Advisory - Vancouver Airport Authority, US Customs and Border Patrol Launch New Initiative at Vancouver International Airport
RICHMOND, BC, May 6, 2013 /CNW/ - Tomorrow, Tuesday, May 7, Vancouver Airport Authority and U.S. Customs and Border Protection will launch a first-of-its-kind initiative at Vancouver International Airport (YVR) to streamline the travel process from international destinations to the United States. This partnership between an airport and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will significantly improve efficiency and is an example of technological innovation and the willingness to change the way business is done in order to enhance passenger experience. Media are invited to attend the exclusive launch of this program and will be given a demonstration of how the new program will operate for U.S. passport holders passing through CBP preclearance.
