What: Vinifera 2010, the premier social event for Toronto's financial community and hosted by Women in Capital Markets (WCM), is taking place the evening of March 10, 2010. This year's event, the 10th annual Vinifera gala, features an exclusive group of Toronto's top female chefs who will be showcasing their gastronomic flare in unison with outstanding wines. Guests will not only be able to interact with these accomplished chefs while enjoying inspired culinary creations and fine wines, but will also have the opportunity to bid on one-of-a-kind auction items. Proceeds from Vinifera will go towards the Heather L. Main Memorial Scholarship Fund - an endowment set-up to encourage young women to pursue careers within the capital markets and financial industries - as well as to other WCM Education initiatives and outreach programs. Who: The exclusive group of chefs includes: Anne Yarymowich from FRANK; Christine Cushing from Fearless in the Kitchen on the W Network; Mrs. Amar Patel of Indian Rice Factory; Dufflet Rosenberg of Dufflet Pastries; Esther Benaim, co-owner Great Cooks on Eight; and Dinah Koo, owner Koo & Co.
