Members of the media are invited to Waste Management's West Carleton Environment Centre for the official opening of this new green energy project. This is a major undertaking and commitment Waste Management is making to the City of Ottawa and its residents.
Here is an opportunity to learn about Waste Management's leadership in renewable energy and gain a greater understanding of how the site is being utilized more effectively. Details of an energy research partnership with Carleton University will be announced.
Waste Management, Carleton University and Ontario Power Generation Staff will be available to speak on issues of renewable energy.
