Chamber to release energy report

VICTORIA, BC, Oct. 2 /CNW Telbec/ - With an audience of over 300 business delegates from across Canada , the country's most influential business lobby will release a critical report on energy entitled: Powering up Canadian prosperity: Realizing the energy sector's potential and ensuring continued access to a stable, secure, clean and flexible supply of affordable energy.

In this report, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce urges the 13 provincial and territorial governments and the federal government to come together as partners and work with the industry, business, consumers, community groups and First Nations to develop a comprehensive Canadian Sustainable Energy Strategy.

The report will be released at the Canadian Chamber of Commerce Annual General Meeting in Victoria, BC on Sunday, October 4 at 12:00 p.m. by Roger Thomas , Chair of the Canadian Chamber.
