Media Advisory - Western Compensation and HR 2013
CALGARY, Nov. 13, 2013 /CNW/ - The Conference Board of Canada's Senior Vice-President and Chief Economist, Glen Hodgson will explain the potential scenarios that will drive economic change in 2014, and their impact on Western Canada. Karla Thorpe will present the Conference Board's annual Compensation Planning Outlook, focusing on the West and its key sectors.
The day-long conference will also focus on organizational compensation and HR strategies to attract and manage the future Western Canadian talent marketplace. Speakers include Donna Wilson, Senior Vice President of People at Canada's largest privately owned lab, LifeLabs, who will be sharing several lessons learned at the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games.
