Media Advisory - WestJet takes inaugural flight from Whitehorse
CALGARY, May 17, 2012 /CNW/ - Whitehorse media are invited to join WestJet on Friday, May 18 in celebration of the airline's inaugural flight festivities.
Media are asked to arrive at the WestJet check-in counters at Erik Nielsen Whitehorse International Airport at 7 a.m. PDT to be issued a pass to the gate. Once at the gate, Cam Kenyon, WestJet's Executive Vice-President of Operations, will welcome guests and make a special presentation to Whitehorse WestJetters, who join a family of more than 8,600 caring employees across the airline's network.
Prior to the presentation, WestJet representatives will be available for media interviews with executive members of Strategic Aviation, WestJet's ground-handling service provider in Whitehorse.
