MEDIA ADVISORY - What does it mean to end homelessness?
CALGARY, Jan. 18, 2017 /CNW/ - Communities across Canada and around the world have embarked on a range of initiatives to end homelessness. Some jurisdictions have declared notable progress. But what does it mean to end homelessness? Experts will weigh in as The School of Public releases a new report on defining and measuring an end to homelessness.
The report is ground-breaking. It analyzes data and policy from 60 jurisdiction's in Canada, the US, Australia and Europe. The findings will set out a policy path whereby a Functional End to homelessness can be defined to assess progress towards its ultimate elimination.
