Report Will Shed New Light on Tax Burden on Canadians by Age and Income Group, and Address Potential Tax Reforms

CALGARY, Feb. 6, 2015 /CNW/ - The School of Public Policy has new and deep research into the tax burden in Canada – specifically looking at who pays how much.  A report will be released in Ottawa on February 10^th that will show that the Canadian tax system is not just progressive, but extraordinarily progressive, and could provoke a new way of looking at progressivity.  The report should serve as a reality check for policy makers proposing major tax increases or reforms.
