MONTRÉAL, Oct. 5, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - Carolle Mathieu, president of the L'R des centres de femmes du Québec, will address the media regarding the occupying of public space, the steps taken towards creating a manifesto, and the demands of the women of Montréal-Laval. She will be joined by two women who participated in the elaboration of the manifesto: Yvette Zion and Debra Fogel. Marie-France Benoît, spokesperson for the Québec coordination of the World March of Women and Kim de Baene, spokesperson for the Coalition opposée à la tarification et à la tarification des services publics, will also be in attendance.
The occupation will take place following the briefing. This action by the L'R des centres de femmes du Québec is within the context of the World March of Women and is happening during the National Day of Québec Women's Centres.
