Media Advisory - Workplace Safety & Prevention Services (WSPS) hosts Canada's largest health and safety event on April 29 - 30
MISSISSAUGA, ON, April 28, 2014 /CNW/ - 4,500 business and health and safety experts and delegates are headed to Partners in Prevention 2014, Canada's largest health and safety conference and trade show to learn about the latest trends and equipment required for a safe workplace. On the heels of Ontario's new health and safety strategy, investing in employee safety not only brings big returns to a company's bottom line, but also helps to foster safety cultures across the province.
Every year in Canada, over 250,000 workers get injured or fall ill to disease on the job – 48,000 of those are young workers. The show offers delegates the knowledge and tools they will need to help put an end to this epidemic.
Partners in Prevention features over 64 presentations, e-learning labs and more than 400 exhibitors on the Trade Show Floor.
The conference highlight is its View from the Top panel where Harry Oshanski, President & CEO, Casino Rama, Peter Van Stralen, President & CEO, Sunshine Brands and Mike Reinders, President, Maple Reinders Constructors, will share how their efforts resulted in a competitive edge and healthy bottom line (Tuesday, April 29, 10 a.m.).
