Media advisory - Wrestler Ghenadie Balaur will become a Canadian citizen

MONTREAL , Oct. 20 /CNW Telbec/ - Media representatives are invited to a special citizenship ceremony as part of the activities marking the Citizenship Week 2009. On this occasion, wrestler Ghenadie Balaur will be among the 30 candidates from 13 different countries receiving their Canadian citizenship.

M. Balaur was champion in 2008 in Greco-Roman Wrestling. He won a silver medal in 2007 and is now candidate for the Commonwealth games of 2010. He may also be a Canadian hope for the Oympic games of London in 2012.
