MEDIA ADVISORY - WSIB to Hold Public Day of Mourning Ceremony on April 28th
TORONTO, April 27, 2017 /CNW/ - The Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) will commemorate the National Day of Mourning at a public ceremony on Friday, April 28th.
The ceremony is being held to remember and honour those workers who have died, been injured or suffered illness in the workplace.
As visual tributes to the Day of Mourning, the 3D TORONTO sign in Nathan Phillips Square and the CN Tower will be lit in yellow, traditionally a colour of hope, tomorrow evening.

Threads of Life families who have lost a loved one, workers and employers are expected to attend the ceremony.
St. Michael's Choir School will be performing at the ceremony.
