Media Advisory - YVR Introduces Ambassador Dog Program
The Less Airport Stress Initiative (LASI) helps travellers manage stress
RICHMOND, BC, Aug. 22, 2017 /CNW/ - Join Vancouver International Airport (YVR) today to celebrate the launch of Less Airport Stress Initiative (LASI). This new innovative initiative brings in Ambassador Dogs from St. John Ambulance's Therapy Dog Program to the terminal to provide all airport users with a new support service to help manage anxiety associated with travelling, work and general stress. Norman and Molly, two of our most beloved Ambassador Dogs, will be joined by five of their furry friends to celebrate the official launch of the LASI program. The event will include speeches from YVR and St. John Ambulance, along with a unique photo opportunity with all Ambassador Dogs.
