Media Advisory - YVR Unveils First in-terminal Pet Relief Area
RICHMOND, BC, June 8, 2016 /CNW/ - Vancouver International Airport (YVR) invites media to sneak a peek at its newly-opened pet relief area in the U.S Departures Terminal. This unique facility, the first of its kind located post-security at a major airport in Canada, was built to accommodate passengers travelling with pets. Whether they be companion dogs, assistance animals or adventurous on-board, four-legged flyers, YVR has created a far more accessible and convenient relief area for dogs at the airport.

Meet at The Spirit of Haida Gwaii: The Jade Canoe, level 3, International Terminal Building, Vancouver International Airport. Then through security to U.S. Departures area.

This event has limited access due to security restrictions. Media wishing to attend must RSVP with name, outlet and title by June 8 at noon to [email protected]. Media who have not received confirmation of RSVP spot will be unable to attend.
Note: As this event is taking place in the secure area of the terminal, media must supply valid government-issued photo identification and undergo security screening.
