A benefit event by Les amis de la montagne
MONTREAL, Feb. 14, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - The countdown has begun for the special 15th anniversary edition of the Tuques Bleues Celebration to be held Thursday, February 16, 2012, at 5:45 p.m. on Mont Royal.
More than 600 participants are expected to relive this centuries-old sporting event that features a snowshoe climb through the mountain forest by moonlight and a sumptuous gastronomic buffet featuring regional Québécois specialties, all as part of the opening festivities of Montréal en lumière.
Organized by Les amis de la montagne and their partners to support education and conservation programs on Mont Royal, the honorary co-chairs of this anniversary benefit evening are Cyril Bendahan, Regional Vice President, Group Benefits, Manulife Financial and Michel Leblanc, President and CEO, Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal.
