TORONTO, July 17, 2018 /CNW/ - Toronto Community Housing, in partnership with the Jays Care Foundation, is once again organizing a day of friendly competition for young campers from a dozen Toronto communities. Our annual youth track-and-field meet will be attended by approximately 1,000 children from across the city. These young athletes are part of our Rookie League program–a summer-long baseball day-camp helping to build strong communities by teaching kids the value of teamwork, leadership and fair play. Rookie League offers youth free summer camps in July and August as well as homework clubs in the fall. Interview opportunities with TCHC organizers and photo opportunities with participants are available at both locations.
