CAA South Central Ontario (CAA SCO) launches its Heads Up! campaign with the help of Ontario's Minister of Transportation, The Hon. Steven Del Duca, and police partners. The aim of the campaign is to educate drivers about the new road rules coming into effect this fall. The media event will focus on distracted driving, Slow Down, Move Over legislation and the one-metre passing rule. |

York Regional Police (YRP) officers will be conducting a distracted driving blitz on Steeles Avenue. YRP Sergeant Karen Hodge will be available for media interviews. |

Toronto Police Constable Hugh Smith will demonstrate the one-metre passing rule for drivers using a parked vehicle and a stationary bike. |
|
OPP Sergeant Kerry Schmidt and CAA SCO's Manager of Government Relations, Elliott Silverstein, will be available for media interviews regarding the Slow Down, Move Over law, along with a CAA contracted tow operator. |
