MONTREAL, April 14 /CNW/ - This Sunday, April 18th, 3500 recreational and elite runners are expected to gather at Parc Jean-Drapeau for the 8th annual Banque Scotia 21k de Montréal et 5K race. Sunday's event will host the Canadian Half Marathon Championships for the third year - a challenge for Canada's best distance runners, and has brought back the Scotiabank Group Charity Challenge where 24 local charities will benefit from the race.
