Clelia II as first cruise vessel in port for 2010
TORONTO, June 19 /CNW/ - The Toronto Port Authority ("TPA") is pleased to announce the arrival of M.V. Clelia II into the Port of Toronto today.
The Clelia II will be docking at the International Marine Passenger Terminal (IMPT) at 6 am and departing early Sunday morning. This 100 passenger luxury "yacht-like" ship is operated by Travel Dynamics out of New York City.
The ship's Great Lakes itinerary will take her 7 days to reach Duluth, Minnesota on Lake Superior. Along the way the passengers will get to experience the Welland Canal, Niagara Falls, Little Current, Mackinac Island (US), Red Rock and Thunder Bay. The Clelia II will make 7 trips to Duluth from Toronto with 7 trips back this season (the same as in 2009).
Embarking passengers will be sent off by a fife and drummer in period costume from the City of Toronto's Fort York.
