MEDIA ADVISORY - BC LEADERS DEBATE 2024--- MEDIA CONFERENCE
VANCOUVER, BC, Sept. 24, 2024 /CNW/ - The only live, streamed and televised debate between all party leaders in the 2024 BC provincial election will be held on October 8, 2024 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The debate will air on all major television and radio news networks (CBC BC, C-PAC, City TV, CTV Vancouver and Global BC) across the province, and will be moderated by Shachi Kurl. It will feature BC Conservative leader John Rustad, NDP leader David Eby and Green Party leader Sonia Furstenau, facing off on a wide range of topics critical to British Columbians.
WHO: The BC Broadcast Consortium invites accredited media to view the 2024 BC Leaders debate and attend the post-debate media conference.
WHEN: Tuesday, October 8, 2024
Accredited Media registration: 4:30 p.m. - 6:15 p.m.
Media Conference: 8:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
WHAT: All party leaders will take questions about their debate performance.
WHERE: Location and additional details will be provided in email confirmation.
HOW: All accredited media MUST pre-register to attend the debate venue and post debate press conference.
***Media must be present at the debate venue before registration closes in order to attend the press conference. There will be no in/out privileges during the event. Space is limited and you must RSVP to which a confirmation will be sent. Attendees will have to show the confirmation and identification to register.
