VANCOUVER, Nov. 22 /CNW/ - The British Columbia Securities Commission's executive director, Paul Bourque, will be in Kelowna on Nov. 23, 2010 to speak about Western Canada's vibrant venture capital markets and the challenges facing those who regulate them.
Mr. Bourque will discuss the vital role that small and medium size businesses play in B.C.'s economy and the importance of financing small businesses, both public and private. He will discuss the regulator's role in making sure there is continued success in the province's venture capital market.
