JUNOfest Submissions Open Today!
Artists perform in a two-night musical celebration as part of JUNO Week 2014
WINNIPEG, Nov. 5, 2013 /CNW/ - The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences requests artist submissions for JUNOfest presented by SiriusXM, the annual musical festival that will showcase the best Canadian artists in venues across Winnipeg during 2014 JUNO Week.

Submissions will be accepted between November 5, 2013 and January 8, 2014.
The 43rd annual JUNO Awards and JUNO Week will be held in Winnipeg, Manitoba, March 24, 2014 - March 30, 2014.
About JUNOfest:
WHAT: | JUNOfest is a two-night music festival that is one of the signature events of 2014 JUNO Week. The live festival will feature the talents of regional and national artists representing the many genres that make up Canadian music. |
Nearly half of the participating line-up will be chosen locally to highlight Manitoba's diverse music scene, in addition to performances from 2014 JUNO Award nominees and some of Canada's national touring acts. | |
JUNOfest is open to Canadian artists only. A $10 application fee will apply. | |
JUNOfest will be produced by a team led by Rick Fenton (BreakOut West (BOW)/Western Canadian Music Alliance (WCMA) with Melissa Kaminsky (also of BOW/WCMA), and Ruben Ramalheiro of Manitoba Music. | |
WHEN: | JUNOfest will take place at numerous venues in Winnipeg on Friday, March 28 & Saturday, March 29. |
