MONTREAL, May 16, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - This Thursday, the Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation will be holding its 19th edition of the Ball for the Children's with special guests Gregory Charles, talented musician, tv and radio host, as emcee, and renowned chefs Derek Dammann of Maison Publique and David McMillan of Joe Beef – co-owners of the new concept McKIERNAN – in the kitchens.
Under the honorary presidency of Mr. Sean Finn, Executive Vice-President of Corporate Services and Chief Legal Officer for CN, as well as Chair of the Board of Directors of the CCMM, the Ball for the Children's promises to be a magical evening for the 550 prominent business leaders and great philanthropists.
The evening will highlight young singer and comedian Jean-Gilles Gadoury, treated at the Children's for leukemia, who earned the TD Nicolas Matossian Junior Community Award of Excellence for his philanthropic efforts. Jean-Gilles recorded an album and donated the proceeds to the Children's. "I don't want other children to go through what I did."
