TORONTO, March 25, 2021 /CNW/ - Members of the Canadian Union of Brewery and General Workers (CUBGW) have now entered the 5th week after being locked out by Molson Coors in Toronto. CUBGW is a Component of the 390,000-member National Union of Public and General Employees (NUPGE).
The main issues that are outstanding are tiered wages, mandatory weekend work, and retirement security benefits.
"We're looking for fairness, equality and respect in this round of bargaining," said Gaurav Sharma, CUBGW President. "We're disappointed that even when we provide win-win solutions, Molson Coors won't accept them."
