Québec Premier François Legault, as chair of the Council of the Federation, will chair this media availability. Other Premiers will join virtually.

Notes for Media
Journalists who wish to cover the news conference on-site or on Zoom must confirm in advance with Ewan Sauves by email. A maximum of 2 cameras (pool cameras) will be allowed; those will make the feed available to all media outlets. The number of photographers allowed will also be limited and they must register beforehand and obtain a confirmation email. COVID-19 Measures
Those attending the news conference in person must not have symptoms that are similar to those of COVID-19, nor have been in contact with a person who has tested positive within the last 14 days. Please note that wearing a face mask is mandatory.
The Council of the Federation comprises all 13 provincial and territorial Premiers. It enables Premiers to work collaboratively, form closer ties, foster constructive relationships among governments, and show leadership on important issues that matter to Canadians.
