ST-HUBERT, QC, Nov. 27, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - On December 3, Canadian Space Agency (CSA) astronaut David Saint-Jacques will fly to the International Space Station (ISS) aboard a Soyuz rocket. The Honourable Navdeep Bains, CSA astronaut Jenni Sidey-Gibbons and former CSA astronaut Robert Thirsk will participate in a launch event held at the CSA.
David Saint-Jacques' mission is set to be the longest for a Canadian aboard the ISS, where he will carry out scientific experiments, perform robotics tasks, test new technologies, and maybe go on a spacewalk.
Media representatives are invited to the CSA's launch event. Those who cannot attend can watch the launch live on the Canadian Space Agency's YouTube channel.
