MEDIA ADVISORY - Canadian Centre for Gender and Sexual Diversity to receive Canada Post Community Foundation Signature Grant of $50,000 Français
OTTAWA, ON, Sept. 7, 2023 /CNW/ - A total of approximately $1.2 million in grants has been awarded this year by the Canada Post Community Foundation to 84 organizations across the country. These grants, raised through funds from our post offices and Community Foundation stamp sales, support the organizations' efforts to improve the lives of Canadian children and youth.
Among these recipients is the Ottawa-based Canadian Centre for Gender and Sexual Diversity, which will be awarded $50,000 as one of three Signature Grant recipients. Signature grants are given to national organizations that offer programming for children and youth across Canada. The Canadian Centre for Gender and Sexual Diversity is a non-profit organization that promotes sexual and gender diversity in (non-)romantic relations through education, research and advocacy.
A cheque will be presented to the organization and interviews will be conducted with spokespeople from the Canadian Centre for Gender and Sexual Diversity and Canada Post.
