WINNIPEG, MB, July 10, 2023 /CNW/ - Dr. Alika Lafontaine, president of the Canadian Medical Association (CMA), will be in Winnipeg from Monday, July 10 to Wednesday, July 12 inclusively for Canada's premiers' summer Council of the Federation meeting. Dr. Lafontaine will be available for media interviews while in Winnipeg. The CMA recently issued a series of ambitious targets that governments should use to drive health system improvements. These targets build on the conditions included in the federal, provincial and territorial bilateral agreements on health. They are key to turning around our health care systems.
