LONGUEUIL, QC, Nov. 26, 2024 /CNW/ - From November 26 to 28, the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) is hosting the Aqualunar Challenge Innovator Bootcamp. Open to the Challenge's Canadian semi-finalists and UK finalists, this bootcamp will include expert-led discussions, collaborative workshop sessions, informational seminars, and opportunities for networking between innovators and industry representatives.
Launched in April 2024, the Aqualunar Challenge called on innovators to create novel technologies to purify lunar water. As water is critical for human space exploration, these innovations could help as humanity prepares to establish a long-term presence on the Moon and engage in more ambitious space missions.
The Challenge is an international collaboration between Canada and the United Kingdom, with joint but distinct tracks for each country. In Canada, the Challenge is organized and delivered by the CSA in partnership with the Privy Council Office's Impact Canada program.
Journalists who wish to request an interview with semi-finalists or CSA experts are asked to contact the Media Relations Office.
