Media Advisory - Canadian Transportation Agency to hold technical briefing on next steps to strengthen air passenger protection Français
GATINEAU, QC, July 10, 2023 /CNW/ - Tom Oommen, Director General, Analysis and Outreach Branch and spokesperson of the Canadian Transportation Agency (CTA) will be holding a virtual technical briefing on the CTA's next steps in the area of air passenger protection and how the CTA plans to strengthen the Air Passenger Protection Regulations (APPR) as a result of the Budget Implementation Act which introduced changes to the Canada Transportation Act to clarify, simplify and strengthen the Canadian air passenger protection regime.

Mr. Oommen will be making opening remarks and walking through the proposed changes the CTA plans to undertake to strengthen air passenger protections, including changes to the APPR. This will be followed by a question period.
