MONTREAL, Dec. 18, 2020 /CNW Telbec/ - The Corporation d'urgences-santé wishes to announce that Yvan Gendron, who has been acting President and Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation since October 15 of this year, will continue his interim mandate in 2021.
Following the processes announced last September regarding the organization's policy on preventing and managing incivility, harassment and violence in the workplace and the independent investigation that was conducted, Nicola D'Ulisse has decided to officially resign from his position as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation.
Mr. Gendron holds 35 years of management experience in the field of health and social services. In the course of his career, he has served as Deputy Minister of Health and Social Services, President and Chief Executive Officer of the CIUSSS de l'Est-de-l'Île-de-Montréal, Associate Director General and Deputy Director General of the CHUM, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Agence de la santé et des services sociaux de la Montérégie, Director General of the Charles-Le Moyne Hospital and the Centre de santé et de services sociaux Haut-Richelieu–Rouville.
Business continuity and maintaining the quality of public services remain priorities for the Corporation d'urgences-santé. The Corporation continues to play an active role in mobilizing the various partners in the health network in order to stand together in the face of the current pandemic.
