Media Advisory: CMHC to release latest Rental Market Report

OTTAWA, ON, Dec. 4, 2024 /CNW/ - Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) will release its Fall 2024 Rental Market Report (RMR) on Tuesday, December 17 at 10:00 AM ET.

CMHC's annual RMR provides a detailed analysis of the primary rental market and the secondary rental market (rented condominium apartments) in Canada's largest CMAs (Census Metropolitan Areas).

Survey data for the RMR was gathered in October 2024 and includes privately initiated structures with at least three rental units, which have been on the market for at least three months. Social housing structures or units are not included in the RMR.
