OTTAWA, ON and VANCOUVER, BC and TORONTO and MONTREAL and HALIFAX, NS, Sept. 9, 2020 /CNW/ - Today, #NOTGOINGBACK organizers announced they will take nationwide action the week of the Trudeau Throne Speech in calling for a Just Recovery and will hold a press conference this Friday to outline intended public action(s) and issue legislative demands to the Trudeau Liberals.

#NOTGOINGBACK is comprised of multiple youth-led movements including Climate Strike Canada and Our Time and their active following of students, young workers and allies.

#NOTGOINGBACK organizers will formally issue their legislative demands to the Trudeau Government this Friday, September 11 at a press conference in Ottawa, with organizers from Vancouver, Montreal, Toronto and Halifax joining virtually. Special guests are also set to speak. 

#NOTGOINGBACK is a nonviolent, grassroots movement of young people refusing to return to a status quo that has sacrificed their futures, communities, and climate for the sake of a wealthy few.
