OTTAWA, ON, Oct. 14, 2020 /CNW/ - Dan Clement, President and CEO of United Way Centraide Canada will be joined by The Honourable Ahmed Hussen, Minister of Families, Children and Social Development to make an important announcement regarding an expansion of 211 in Canada.
211 is a free, confidential service that connects people to critical social and community support. The service helps people navigate the complex network of government and community programs and services quickly to find what they need for their unique situation.
Also in attendance will be Sue Wilkinson, Executive Director, 211 Central, and Connie Walker, CEO of United Way Winnipeg.
