Invisible Entrepreneurs: New Report Exposes Systemic Discrimination and Presents Recommendations for Change
OTTAWA, ON, March 18, 2024 /CNW/ - The Economic Equity Alliance (the Alliance) will be releasing a groundbreaking report titled "Invisible Entrepreneurs: The Impact of Small Business Policy Neglect on Self-Employed Individuals," calling on the government to address the longstanding exclusion of self-employed workers from small business policy.

They will be speaking on behalf of the Alliance which unites 12 organizations spanning chambers of commerce, trade unions, and community groups with one goal: to shed light on the ongoing neglect of self-employed workers by policymakers.
WHAT: The Alliance will be presenting a report which highlights the urgent need for policymakers to recognize and support this essential segment of the labour market and will issue recommendations to better support self-employed workers. This will be followed by a Q&A.
