Media Advisory - Elections Canada to Hold Technical Briefing and News Conference on the Recommendations Report from the 43rd and 44th General Elections Français
GATINEAU, QC, June 6, 2022 /CNW/ - Journalists are invited to a technical briefing with Elections Canada lawyers, followed by a press conference with Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Stéphane Perrault to answer questions about Elections Canada's recommendations report from the 43rd and 44th general elections.
Meeting New Challenges: Recommendations from the Chief Electoral Officer of Canada following the 43rd and 44th General Elections proposes amendments to the Canada Elections Act that the CEO believes are desirable for the better administration of the Act. It will be tabled in Parliament on June 7.
Journalists will have early access to the report under embargo.
