MONTREAL, Aug. 25, 2021 /CNW Telbec/ - TVA's Communications Department announces the arrangements for media wishing to cover Face-à-Face Fédérales 2021 in Montréal on Thursday, September 2 and attend the leaders' post-debate press conferences.
The one-on-one debates between Justin Trudeau (Liberal Party of Canada), Erin O'Toole (Conservative Party of Canada), Yves-François Blanchet (Bloc Québécois) and Jagmeet Singh (New Democratic Party) will be held on Thursday, September 2, 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. The debate will be hosted by Pierre Bruneau. It will be broadcast on TVA, LCN, QUB radio and their digital platforms.
Accreditation
Journalists and photographers
Please note that due to current health restrictions, space is limited: a maximum of one journalist per media outlet and one photographer per media outlet will be admitted to the press room.
All journalists and photographers who wish to be admitted to the press room must fill out the form at the following link by noon on Tuesday, August 31: https://forms.office.com/r/9ySUhqySe7
Please note that no accreditations will be issued after this deadline.
Only journalists and photographers who have received an email confirming their admission to the press room will be accredited.
Medias will be required to show ID to pick up their accreditation when they arrive at TVA.
Cameras
Important: No cameras will be allowed in the press room. TVA will tape the four leaders' press conferences. To receive the live feed, please send an email to: [email protected]
Reporters who want to file live reports will have to do so from outside the TVA building.
Press room
A press room will be set up at the TVA studios in Montréal where journalists will be to follow Face-à-Face live on monitors. Media representatives will be able to enter the building at 1600 de Maisonneuve East as of 5:00 p.m.
The four leaders' press conferences will be held in the press room after the debate and will be moderated by TVA's Communications Department.
COVID-19 measures
Medias will have to observe COVID-19 health measures when arriving at TVA. Temperature will be taken and medias will be asked to fill out a COVID-19 form. A surgical mask will also be provided. Note that these measures could be tightened, including a requirement to show the vaccine passport, in the event of new public health orders.
Use of content
Any use of audio or visual excerpts from Face-à-Face is subject to the following rules:
- Use of visuals on television, on websites or on social media: maximum 3 minutes with the credit "Images: TVA" shown for the duration of the excerpt.
- Audio: the presenter (newsreader or reporter) must specify that the excerpt is from TVA's Face-à-Face.
- No excerpts from Face-à-Face 2021 may be broadcast before the end of the live broadcast on TVA and LCN.
* These rules do not apply to pool images of the four leaders' press conferences.
Available services and equipment
The press room will be equipped with a printer, power bars, wireless Internet connection and audio distribution amplifier. No journalists or photographers will be allowed on the set. The official photo of the four leaders, taken on the Face-à-Face set, will be available upon request from the TVA Group communications team in the press room.
