Media Advisory: Facebook and BDC to host free workshop for Ottawa businesses
Part of a special series to celebrate BDC Small Business Week 2017
OTTAWA, Oct. 12, 2017 /CNW/ - On Wednesday, October 18, Boost Your Business with Facebook will take place in Ottawa, Ontario, a session dedicated to teaching small business owners how to optimize their presence on Facebook and Instagram.
The Boost Your Business workshop will include a training session led by a Facebook small business expert on the latest best practices and strategies for success. Attendees will learn how to use Facebook and Instagram to grow their business and connect with current and potential customers.
As a special segment of the program, BDC will uncover emerging trends from its latest research report, in particular two forces that are reshaping Canada's businesses: the evolution of talent and the digitization of the economy.
A question and answer session will follow, featuring a panel of local small business owners, who will share their Facebook tips, tricks and suggestions. Maker House, FarmLead, Dogs at Camp and Rhapsody Strategies have been selected to join the panel as best-in-class examples of businesses using Facebook.
